Down to Business

I'm not sure why I faltered, but I couldn't admit that I wasn't entirely self motivated. I have no other choice, now. Time to get back on track. I'm setting January 1st as a date to measure progress by. It's already December 4th, but we'll just assume I started on the 1st. Let's see how much I can do in 30 days.

Goal #1: Quit smoking cigarettes. This should not be that difficult, and it'll go well with
Goal #2: Put at least $1000.00 in my checking account, and don't spend any of it.
Goal #3: Figure out a budget, and calculate when I will be able to move into my own place, and how much I can afford to pay in rent.
Goal #4: By the deadline, add 3 more goals and make progress on them for the next month.

There is no reason I can't accomplish these things in 30 days and then some. The most important thing is to try to beat these expectations and, say, accomplish 5 goals instead of just 3 by the new year. No resolutions, no half assery. Realistic, time constrained progress is mandatory. I'm not looking at 6 months from now, I'm looking at the end of the week to see progress. It's now or never.
